The Council on Accreditation performed a site review in August 2005. Full accreditation was granted in November 2005 through November 2009. COA is an independent accreditor of the full continuum of community-based behavioral healthcare and social service organizations in the United States and Canada abroad. COA is recognized as one of the three leading accreditors of such service providers. The accreditation by COA will help MYR become stronger in terms of services we provide, build credibility through public recognition and peer credibility, and instill confidence in our donor, board, staff, and clients by communication of our commitment to nationally established quality standards.
