Barium Springs is a Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency in 41 North Carolina counties. Call our intake department for referrals or use our quick and easy online form to begin the admissions process.

Welcome to Barium Springs!  We've given hope to children and families since 1891. Barium Springs cares for children and individuals in 41 North Carolina counties.  We provide a safe place to live for abused or neglected children, individual and group counseling services, therapeutic foster care and adoption programs.  We also offer behavior treatment in a school setting for troubled teens as well as early intervention services for children still living in the community.
